1. Wait for a update in Gears Of War 2.

2. When the update is almost complete, press B to cancel it.

3. Wait till you get to the main menu, then press the Guide button in the middle of your remote and click on Connect To Xbox Live.

4. Itl say ``You need to accept a update.``

5. Accept it all the way and when you get done you should be back on level 1.

NOTE: If it doesn't work then after stoping the Update play at least 1 match with all AI`s. Then it should work.
